J. Pons, journaliste |

The restauration of a charming Chateau in the small French village of Lacaze was the beginning of an ambitious project to create a cultural center for performing and visual Arts. Bob Morse was chosen to transform the interieur, harmonizing contemporary steel forms with the medieval stonework. The project was exceptional in the complete freedom that he was given to follow his imagination. He began in the basement with the idea of a germinating seed which then divides and reproduces until roots and shoots begin to grow up and around the stairwell, becoming more and more dense as we walk up. After one year of work and 5 tons of steel, the Chateau opened to welcome 1,200 curious visiters. It is now considered to be a completely unique visual experience.

"Dear Bob, It's been many years since we've spoken, but I think of you often and have wondered what your doing and how you've been. I see you live in France now. I'd love talk maybe sometime soon? It would be great to catch up with you. I live in Stroudsburg Pennsylvania with my wife Beth. We've had a bunch of kids (5!) and she's wonderful and I'd really like you to meet her one day if possible, only because I've spoken to her about you so often, and this way ..."

"hey Bob, I'm a friend of Marie Pace and Ray DiCapua. Marie tried hooking us up a while back and having just talked to her on the phone, I'm reaching out to you in hopes of meeting you at some point. Obviously the times aren't yet for 'deconfinement' but the summer will come and hopefully we'll be out of all this madness. Anyway, I live here in Montpellier with wife and two kids. I'm a musician, my wife is an artist. I'm sure we'll have lots to talk ..."
